Jireh Metal Products, Inc. began in 1983 as a supplier partner to Meridian (now a Herman Miller brand owned by MillerKnoll). Jireh Metal remained family-owned until 2015, when it was purchased by a group of local investors. Today, we are a growing manufacturer of metal components, partnering with leading companies in the Furniture, Security Hardware, Outdoor Power Equipment and Heavy Truck industries. We are at our best when we can strategically partner with OEMs and Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers where our capabilities and core values match up well with theirs. Jireh Metal. Jireh Metal employs nearly 85 team members and operates two facilities in West Michigan totaling nearly 100,000SF. The business continues to grow and expand as an award-winning supplier partner.As a company, we believe that Jireh Metal must continuously improve in order to stay ahead of the competition. We have adopted the principles of the Toyota Production System which has allowed us to maintain 5S, increase efficiencies, improve, and grow. Through this growth, we have also kept our eye on quality. We are well below the PPM thresholds set by our customers, and we deliver on-time. The relationships with our partners all have their own unique stories, but longevity is one constant. Our success in Customer Experience, Operations, Quality, and Engineering has us poised to take on new opportunities.All our Team Members understand that we have three areas, or buckets, to fill in order to be a successful company. We must fill the customer bucket by delivering what they order when they want them, per their specification, and at a value that exceeds our competition’s. The bucket for our people must be filled as well. Jireh Metal offers a competitive wage and benefit program as well as quarterly profit sharing. Lastly, if we are taking care of the other two buckets, the company bucket will be filled as well. This allows us to invest in the business and buy new equipment, grow the business, and create further opportunities for our Team Members. When each of our buckets are filled, it means we are winning and need to find bigger buckets that we will fill evenly.Over the years it’s become very clear that to be successful here as a Team Member, you must show up on time, every day. We all need to work safely and share a common customer focus. Jireh is filled with team players. We help one another out when we can and jump in where needed.
