This presentation will help participants think more about the methods they use to reach out to the New Millennium, Gen X and Baby Boomer generations. Zap the Gap offers a comprehensive, thoughtful and humorous look at the generations of Americans in the workplace, and the life events that shaped each generation’s work styles, traits, buying habits and needs. Because generations are in a constant state of flux, what worked last year does not work today. What seemed like a perfect solution yesterday is the source of tomorrow’s problem. Learn from Meagan Johnson what you can do now to make the most of each generation in your workplace!
Meagan Johnson graduated from Arizona State University Business School with a BS in Marketing. She spent several years working in sales for companies like Quaker Oats, Kraft Foods and Xerox. At every company Meagan became discouraged to hear all the negative comments about Generation X. Meagan began to research everything from small to large corporations in order to find successful ways to work with the younger generation. From that ZAP THE GAP Solving the Multi-Generational Puzzle was born. Since 1997, Meagan Johnson has entertained and educated thousands of audience members from all over the globe. Meagan is the author of Generations, Inc. From Boomers to Linksters, Managing the Friction Between Generations at Work. Her clients have included Harley-Davidson, Dairy Queen, Cadillac, American Express, CUNA, Bayer, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Great Clips, The C.I.A. and PepsiCo.
