Khalilah Spencer, Esq. is the Inclusion, Equity and Social Responsibility Partner at Honigman LLP. She is responsible for development and implementation of the firm’s social responsibility program and chairing its Pro Bono Committee.
Khalilah leads the firm’s minority community, recruitment and outreach activities and internal diversity ally program to create more cohesion and effectiveness in providing additional layers of mentoring.
Khalilah has extensive experience in a wide variety of complex commercial and employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration. She has represented individuals and public and private companies in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, financial services, telecommunications, logistics and real estate.
Khalilah developed close working relationships with in-house counsel and HR/labor relations personnel while counseling corporate clients on various labor and employment issues, including NLRA; FMLA; ERISA; FLSA; wage and hour regulations; disability, race, national origin and sex discrimination and harassment; and non-compete and other written employment agreements. She has significant pro bono experience in civil rights
