In 1935, friends and neighbors put five dollars in a fund from which anyone could borrow in a time of need. For the next 25 years, the credit union operated from a cozy home in Redford Township. Today, Community Choice Credit Union has 20 member centers, and counting, for our friends and neighbors to visit in their times of need. Our member centers are undergoing a transformation to serve the changing needs of our members. Much like the home in which we began; our open concept member centers are a warm, inviting space where visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee and chat about their financial lives. Our universally trained member advisors can assist members with financial transactions, new accounts, loans and technology services. Our member center experience is complemented by a full suite of online and mobile banking services and an extended-hours contact center. We value team member feedback and receive it through many channels including weekly surveys designed to keep a pulse on the Credit Union. We consistently learn that team members feel a strong sense of purpose in their work and feel rewarded by the positive impact they create for their team mates and members.
