David A. Crawford, M.B.A., is Vice President, Talent Acquisition for New York-Presbyterian. In this role, he is responsible for leading talent acquisition strategies and operations, including workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and employment branding/marketing. Mr. Crawford joined New York-Presbyterian in 2015 with significant experience in talent acquisition strategy, talent management, and workplace diversity. Previously, he served as Vice President for Global Talent Acquisition at Mastercard, where he brought thought leadership to the company’s internal and external talent acquisition strategy. Prior to this, he worked for two years at BlackRock as Director and Global Head of Recruiting and Diversity. From 1985 through 2008, Mr. Crawford worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co., with increasing levels of responsibility, serving in both the Operations and Finance Divisions before holding various human capital management roles, ultimately as Vice President for Recruiting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Accounting from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
